Hey.
I've recently dicovered a band called the Academy is...( you lot have probably all heard about this and i've just been sitting in a little box, facing the wall for a loooong time).
Anybody know anything about them?
I don'y really know how to describe them, but if i had a go i'd probably say they were alternative/ kinda punky at a push. The only songs I've heard so far are: the 'Phrase that Pays', 'Classifieds', and 'Everything We Had' and so far I've really liked them all...
Also, is it just me who thinks the singer is quite hot?
QUITE good looking but not way Noel Fielding hot. 
Anybody know any good songs i can listen to?

i also love mindless self indulgence, the used, and am kinda into the horrors etc, crystal castles, you know, most electro stuff really of course Robots in Disguise, but this is a bit more alternative / rocky- so its a bit different for me...
On second listening, I've just realised how 'poppy' this band sounds. Nothing like MSI so if you like them and have a VERY limited taste in music then you won't like this. They sound a bit like 'Fall out boy' so I may have gone off them a bit. It was a temproary lapse. I apologize...some of the songs are still good- i reckon the best one is 'we've got a big mess on our hands'.
